Beerenauslese is a term for a late harvest wine where the grapes had botrytis (also known as noble rot). The result is a golden yellow dessert wine with rich notes of orange peel and ripe apricots. The natural sweetness is balanced by a fresh acidity. Perfect served chilled as a dessert or as an acompaniment to a white chocolate mousse or any manner of fruit desserts.
