Auslese wines are made from specially selected bunches of ripe grapes which are selected for their potential to create rich and intense wines. The grapes for this wine were hand selected and chosen for their levels of botrytis (noble rot). The result is a hugely expressive sweet wine, notes of apricot and golden aple combine with spices and a tingling mineralitly. The sweetness of the wine is perfectly balanced by a fresh, lime juice acidity and finishes with a long and powerful impression on the palate. Serve with thai curries, fruit deserts, foie gras or aged cheeses.
