Situated on one of the top sites in Wachenheim where its origins go back to the late medieval era. The vineyard is on an east-facing slope where it enjoys optimum sunshine and gravel and sandstone soils which impart a mineral character on the wine. The wine is very well balanced with a subtle nose of melon, white peach and lime. On the palate, a prominent flinty minerality is supported by notes of stone fruits, sweet spices and a touch of honey. Perfect with smoked fish, salads and chicken dishes. Also complements aromatic and spicy dishes such as thai green curry.
