A brilliant wine, full of juicy ripe red fruit with a more-ish quality. The juice was macerated on skins for 10 days for extraction of flavour and tannin and a silky smooth wine yet structured. This organic Grenache noir was left to spontaneously ferment in steel and had minimal intervention from the winemaker to ensure the more natural varietal expression, and influence of terroir as the grapes were on hillside terrain on red Mediterranean sandstone. Ideal with leg of lamb, roast veal with mushrooms, grilled beef or lightly matured cheeses.
