From the Cotes de Gascogne in southwest France, this wine takes inspiration from the Potager`s (Kitchen gardens) that are common in that region. Pale yellow in colour, this dry white is a blend of aromatic Sauvignon Blanc and fresh Colombard grapes and has a zesty bouquet of citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit with sweet pepper and nettle notes. These flavours linger on a supple palate, softened by three months age on the lees, with hints of pear and melon and a vivacious acidity on the finish. Try serving alongside salads, marinated vegetables, poached chicken with tarragon, grilled fish, ravioli or moussaka.
