From the south-facing lower slopes of la Montagne Noire with breath-taking views from all sides of the snow-capped Pyrenees and the famous medieval city of Carcassonne. Here in the hot Mediterranean climate, grapes are able to ripen fully, giving concentrated flavours and a delicate soft body to the wine. The nose has classic hints of red berries and floral aromas. The palate is crisp and clean with raspberries, red currants and white blossom, well balanced with a fresh citrus acidity and a fruit forward finish. Serve chilled as an aperitif or with summer salads.
