This bold Tuscan Cabernet Franc is grown on mineral rich soils. Hand harvested and spontaneously fermented in terracotta amphorae which are buried underground for 30 days. The wine is aged in new French oak barriques for 18-20 months depending on the vintage. The amphorae help to promote this wines` great minerality, with a perfect blend of red fruit and spices on the nose. The velvety tannins are pleasantly balanced by its acidity to leave a lasting, well-structured finish. Due to its well-structured character, this wine will pair fantastically with aged cheeses or grilled and roasted red meats.
