Tempranillo blanco is a Spanish white grape variety that is grown in the Rioja DOC. It is a relatively `new` grape variety as it is a natural mutation of the red Tempranillo variety that is grown throughout Spain. The wine has fruity aromas and flavours of soft white fruit with green apple, citrus and floral characters. It is balanced with a refreshing acidity and a light, fruity finish with delicate floral notes lingering on the palate for a long and delightful finish. Perfect with white asparagus, fried artichoke hearts, grilled fish and salads.
