This is the perfect introduction to orange/skin contact wines! Grapes are harvested at night to retain freshness, then fermented on the skins and left to macerate for 10-15 days to extract colour, flavour and tannins. Pale orange in colour with aromas of tropical fruit, hazelnut and apple. The palate is well structured with sweet tannins and good acidity which complement the complex fruit flavours of dried orange rind, crystallised ginger, jasmine, dried apricots and a subtle nuttiness on the finish. Serve with baba ganoush, prawn pad thai or can stand up to some richer meat dishes.
