German Pinot Noir is predominantly drunk in the German domestic market as they are so popular! This cuvee is made from mature vines of 15 to 25 years old, grown on warm, well drained light loam and sand soils. It is fermented at relatively cool temperatures of about 22c and aged in large wooden barrels for about four months. This is a fine example of Pinot Noir, soft and elegant touch of spice and excellent concentration of fruit. Can be served lightly chilled. Perfect with cold meats, pate and roast chicken.
