The Vicchiomaggio estate, with vineyards around the market town of Greve, makes typical vibrant Classico, blended from 90% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino and 5% Canaiolo. This is a traditional mix, producing a well-structured wine rounded with maturation in large oak barrels. It is full bodied, with good fresh fruit, a touch of spice and vanilla from the oak with fine grained tannins and a bittersweet finish. Serve with pasta with tomato based sauces.
