This wine has seen a long maceration and controlled temperatures in order to get a smooth round tannins, without overly extracting at high temperatures and fermented in inert steel vessels for varietal character. This is a juicy Merlot, bursting full of ripe black plum, damson and elderberry. Well balanced with soft tannins and a medium acidity which complements the ripe fruit flavours. Perfect with a variety of red meats, winter stews and roasted vegetables.
